Murder at The Leopard and Malice Stalks The Leopard - what IS The Leopard?  The Leopard really was a 13th century tavern in Palermo, Sicily, and it really was owned by Amodeus de Rogerio.  We have added (it's a historical novel right?) his tawny-haired, violet-eyed wife, Ysabella and an adventurous 8 year old son named William.  But you will meet the de Rogerio family, and an old Crusader, Pietro Manfredi.
